SCHIPHOL AIRPORT RENOVATION OF STAFF ROOMS & SANITAIR

Schiphol Airport not only develops new facilities but also sustains and upgrades the existing spaces.
After the Covid-19 Schiphol started a new project to renovate 120 staff rooms and 220 sanitair rooms.
A lot of parts of the building were built in nineteens and it needs care from the owner side.

Urbanberry Design develops TOOLBOX for the project together with Urban Sync and BCN.
Urban Sync researches the requirements of users and BCN is responsible for the technical design.
Urbanberry translates the user wishes into architecture language and creates an adaptable design toolbox for any rooms and any type of user.

After analyzing 12 rooms Urbanberry developed the design TOOLBOX that contains a selection of materials and important dimensions with color & material list.
Special furniture and pantry elements were developed together with Lensvelt and Intos.
