JETRO - Maison & Objet

The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) was established in 1958 to help promote mutual trade
and investment between Japan and other countries. The Japan Pavilion at the Maison & Objet 2007, organized
by JETRO and under the theme, JAPAN STYLE 2007 - design meets craft, presents products that blend age-old
Japanese craftmaking techniques with the sleekness and appeal of modern design.

The showcases of the products are designed sensitive way by using fabric and the products are presented
in-between space of the lamps and the tables. The back curtain is specially produced for this stand and
each Japanese character has meaning of 12 material components which presented in this show like paper, tin,
Japanese cedar, rattan, and etc.
