JES Headquaters
Located between Nagoya and Shiga stations, it is a typical Japanese satellite town with a shopping street around the station,
leading to low-rise housing. The site faces a roundabout and is immediately behind Masuda Temple and a covered shopping street.
JES'business is the construction and maintenance of highways, solar power, telephones and traffic security systems.
For a company whose business is environmental maintenance, Urbanberry proposed a climate change-friendly building and
incorporated design techniques for LEED acquisition. This was an attempt at a time when there were still few initiatives
for environmental assessment outside of major general contractors.
